Claire Henderson, M.D., Ph.D.
 

Dr Claire Henderson is Associate Director of Evaluation and Health Services Research for the Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center for the VA’s New York/New Jersey Region and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She was previously the attending psychiatrist for the Bronx Psychiatric Center Assertive Community Treatment team. She is the PI on a study of Joint Crisis Plans (negotiated advance agreements for care during a future relapse of illness) for people with severe mental illness in Northern Manhattan, funded by the MacArthur Research Network on mandated Community Treatment, in collaboration with the Columbia Center for Homelessness Prevention Studies. She was previously PI on a RCT of the same intervention while working in the Department of Health Services Research at the Institute of Psychiatry in London.
